We are excited to welcome Nicole Johnson-Smith, LMHC, CCTP to our team!
As the Director of Clinical & Recovery Services, Nicole will ensure the effective administration and integrity of all clinical and recovery services programs, directly impacting the lives of survivors. She will lead a dedicated team in providing high-quality, trauma-informed therapeutic services to individuals and their families impacted by addictions, domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, child abuse, and/or incest.
Nicole is a compassionate and results-driven behavioral health professional with over a decade of experience in outpatient mental health, substance use recovery, and community-based care. She leads with a focus on building high-performing teams and advancing strategic growth through integrated, evidence-based practices.
Nicole is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, as well as a certified trainer in Motivational Interviewing and QPR. She is deeply committed to creating environments where both clients and staff can prioritize self-care and personal well-being. Guided by the belief in being the person she once needed, Nicole brings empathy, strength, and purpose to her work every day.
Outside of her professional role, she treasures time with her family—especially her two beloved grandchildren.
