Dress for Success Fort Wayne empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and development tools women need to thrive in work and in life.

Sponsored by 1st Source Foundation, the Dress for Success boutiques suits economically disadvantaged female clients for job interviews and court appearances. The program also offers additional support services such as editing resumes, writing cover letters, assisting with job searches, and establishing interview skills.

About Us:

Since starting in 1997, Dress for Success® has expanded to more than 115 cities in 13 countries. Dress for Success® Fort Wayne is the only affiliate in northeast Indiana and is supported by YWCA Northeast Indiana.

 

Dress for Success® serves job-ready women from non-profit organizations Including domestic violence agencies, homeless shelters, and job-training programs. When she successfully lands the job, she can return to the boutique for up to one week’s worth of business-appropriate separates. Sponsored by 1st Source Foundation, the boutique also includes scrubs for the medical industry and black and white separates for the food service industry.

Donating to Dress for Success:

Dress for Success is currently accepting donations of the following items:

  • Plus size pants, blazers, or suits
  • Closed toed flat black or navy shoes
  • Professional sleeve in blouses, any size
  • Jewelry

Dress for Success is accepting donations by appointment only. Please call Success Coordinator Marty Kocks-Hamrick at 260.424.4908 ext. 250 to set up an appointment. We are requesting that all donations to Dress for Success be on hangers.
