Music has the power to heal. Join us for an evening of local talent as we fund the tools necessary for women to reclaim their lives from addiction. Music for a Mission will be a concert dedicated to supporting YWCA Northeast Indiana’s addiction recovery program for women. This special event will take place on September 18th at Brotherhood Mutual, with doors opening at 6 PM.
Experience the power of music as we showcase talented local musicians who will perform a variety of genres, creating an uplifting atmosphere that celebrates resilience and hope. Throughout the evening, hear heartfelt testimonies from YWCA graduates who have transformed their lives through our program, sharing their journeys of recovery and empowerment.
Your participation will not only provide essential funds for our substance use disorder programming but also raise awareness about the challenges faced by individuals and families in our community. Together, we can break the stigma surrounding addiction and support those on their path to recovery.
All proceeds will directly benefit YWCA Northeast Indiana’s addiction recovery initiatives. Join us for a night of music, inspiration, and community support. Together, we can make a difference!
Substance Use Disorder and How YWCA Helps
According to the NIH (National Institute of Mental Health), Substance Use Disorders (or SUDS) "involve patterns of behaviors that might include using more of the substance than planned, finding it difficult to stop, or continuing to use despite knowing it's causing harm".
YWCA Northeast Indiana offers an intensive, residential treatment program in a sub-acute medical facility tailored to treat adult women living with substance use disorder. We provide a high level of support and structured wrap-around services for residents.
