Circle 2023

Our 2023 Circle event, Seasons of Abuse, featured local survivors who bravely told their stories, reflected on their past, and let others know that it’s possible to overcome the trauma of domestic violence and enter into a new season of empowerment. Alongside the Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence, our program combined survivor stories and education to demonstrate different stages that might repeat or escalate in an abusive relationship. Domestic violence can affect anyone, at any time of their life. But we are all more than our yesterday, no matter what season we are in.

With your tremendous generosity, we are excited to announce that we have made our $195,000 goal!

Because of you, we are able to help individuals, like Katie, Dan, Kendra, and Terra; Individuals and families from across Northeast Indiana who need the services of YWCA to enter into a new season of healing. At YWCA, we are seeing a truly unprecedented level of need. Between 2020 and 2022, there was a 58% increase in engagement with our domestic violence services. This year, we project serving the highest number of adults in our organization’s history.

Once more, we would like to extend our gratitude to our Corporate Sponsors, Sustaining Circle Members, Table Hosts, and volunteers. We rely on each other to create this important event and we are beyond grateful to have so many supporters and helping hands. Thank you!

We would like to once more thank our brave and strong survivors for sharing their stories at our 2023 event. Because of you, we were able to raise awareness and understanding of domestic violence and the seasons of abuse that survivors face.
