Meet the Speakers:

Kim Barnett-Johnson, Ph.D.

Chancellor, Ivy Tech Community College Fort Wayne & Warsaw

Dr. Kim Barnett-Johnson, a Fort Wayne, Indiana native, has dedicated over 30 years to higher education. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Systems from Taylor University, a Master’s degree in Liberal Arts from Indiana University – Fort Wayne, and a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Indiana State University. Her research focused on African American women in higher education, particularly the challenges faced in the administrative search and selection process.

 

 

 


Molly Cain

Senior Vice President, Planning and Development, Parkview Health

Molly Cain leads the execution of key strategic and operational initiatives, including construction, marketing, process improvement, and service excellence at Parkview Health. She also collaborates with physician leaders to expand Graduate Medical Education. Prior to her tenure at Parkview, she held leadership roles at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and Medical Center, Mayo Clinic, and the VA Northern Indiana Healthcare System, focusing on quality, access, and organizational excellence.

 

 

 


Jess Hopkins

First Vice President, Regional Sales Manager – Fort Wayne/Michigan, First Merchants Bank

Jess Hopkins is an accomplished financial industry leader with over 17 years of experience, currently serving as the First Vice President and Regional Sales Manager at First Merchants Bank. She oversees the growth and development of the largest region in the bank’s footprint, managing 30 centers in Michigan and 15 in Northeast Indiana. A results-driven professional, she has held multiple roles within consumer banking, consistently excelling in leadership and strategic growth.
