Our 2024 Race Against Racism 5K Walk/Run event will take place on April 27th, 2024 at PFW.
Our second annual Race Against Racism 5K Walk/Run was a huge success! YogaSix hosted a pre-race stretch and there was an award ceremony post race where we presented medals to 16 individuals from the different age categories. 3RRC gift cards were donated for top finishers. We had almost 300 individuals registered for the event!
Thank you to all the individuals and community partner organizations that attended and volunteered at our event!

YWCA Northeast Indiana’s annual Race Against Racism 5K Walk/Run provides an opportunity for the community to come together in solidarity for racial justice. Building a more just and equitable community takes all of us, so YWCA wants to offer community members the opportunity to run the race against racism, together.
The Race Against Racism 5K Walk/Run raises funds for YWCA’s racial justice efforts, which include community events and organizing, assessing community priority areas for racial justice, working with BIPOC-led groups, and developing educational content to share with Fort Wayne and the northeast Indiana community.
